Dear friends
A heartfelt thank you to all of you for staying in touch with us through a strange year of chaos and scattered presence. Times are changing rapidly around us all and we are continuously walking a knives edge separating good new from bad new.
We are, in this very moment, hard at work on the new album, and one of the reasons that we look forward to 2012 is that we get to share this music with you. We also plan to tour our hearts out and hope to see you all out there. Nothing brings us greater joy.
We wish a happy and safe New Year to you and your loved ones. Keep listening to music and keep listening to albums. We will keep making them.
Love
Robert, Allan, Claus
videodiary new york
This second episode of our diary short film series chronicles a last ekskursion, where Robert goes looking for a final surge of electricity in New York before returning to Copenhagen to record with the band. Enjoy and share with others!
Album status // Videodiary Berlin.
We are making an album!
This time around Robert has moved the writing efforts to Berlin, while periodically working with Allan and Claus in Copenhagen.
We are highly exited about the direction and will be working throughout the fall. We are documenting the process through a planned series of videodiaries, and this first episode offers a glimpse into how Berlin have helped shape the first sketches of the album. Watch the video here in HD.
Live at Tide FM
Hey folks. We've done a little digging in the archives and
would like to share these recordings with you. In 2005, while
touring the album Knives and Daggers in Germany, we did a live
session at the Hamburg Radio Tide FM.
The session was recorded at an ungodly early hour, the morning
after a show, and features a hung-over Robert on Vocals and guitar,
Allan on lapsteel, Claus and Samuel sleeping in the corner, and our
trusty Front of House engineer Magnus Groth on the Roland Space
Echo.
We like the thin-skinned nature of this session and it really
takes us back. Have a listen and enjoy
your summer!
privacy on itunes

a heartfelt thank you to everyone we have crossed paths with this year. thank you for listening to us and for supporting the band. thank you to all who have helped us out and offered their time and advice. It means the world to us, and allows us to press on and do what we love.
Next year will be exciting, as we are entering the studio in the spring to record our 5th album. Cannot wait to share new sounds with you all.
happy new year to you and yours!
